I have been working from home for a few years. It hasnt always been an easy task. Juggling work, school, kids, and home etc. As mothers that list goes on and on and on. Our daily jobs are never done. For most of us it even gets us in our sleep. You find yourself dreaming about work and kids and class.
How many of you have every found yourself talking in your sleep about something you think is going on in real life but its all just a dream? LOL! Yup. I have two hands up on that one.
At that moment I realize that I had to do something different. This was it....
Life is so funny... Before I started working from home I worked a regular 9-5, like most of you, and went to school full time while managing my family. Well things got rough and of course just like anyone else I needed help getting my kids to school or on the bus before or after work/school. Yup things were hard but I was determine not to give up so I asked for help from family and friend etc. Things was ok in the beginning then people stop answering the door knowing that they was suppose to be baby sitting for me or started giving excuses as to why they cant or just straight up ignored my calls. I was missing days from work and school because I couldnt find a sitter.... So of course I had to make a decision that was best for me and my kids. It ultimately lead me to quit my job and take time off from school. That was the first moment I realize that just because they laugh and talk in your face does not mean they are always for you... smh. Yup! I was furious. I didnt let it stop me. I was very determined. So I started researching different things to do from home to make money. Finally after starting and online store, blog, and other work from home ventures. I came across a job that was almost like a regular 9-5 but I got to do it from home... I took a chance and tried it. I loved it. I finally had time to put my kids on the bus or get them to school and I had enough time to get back into school myself. My life has been completely turned around these last few years, for the best that is. I no longer have to depend on no one to help me... Im officially super woman! There is nothing that I would change because everything that has happen to me only taught me to be better and stronger than the ones who pretended to be for me. I let go ALL of those fake ones who only wanna be around me when I can do something for them. And I still came out on top of the game because I got my whole cake and Im eating... ALL OF IT! lol
